Amstardam – Greenstalk
One of our favourite scenes from Amstardam, the arrival of the Greenstalk!
This 2 minute sequence starts with Jack and Loz sleeping in the Amsterdam coffee shop after a heavy night. Earlier in the day a mysterious homeless person had given Jack a rather oversized seed as a gift. Thinking it was useless it was promptly flushed down the toilet. Whilst they slept the seed started to sprout.
As a composer this is one of those really juicy scenes to score, something magical builds in front of the audience and we have the opportunity to tell this story through music, in this case with an orchestra and choir.
