A Midsummer Nights Dream

Andrew & Paul land their first Shakespeare commission.

The film is directed by Sacha Bennett, produced by Parkhouse Pictures and stars Robert Lindsay, Juliet Aubrey, Tamzin Merchant and Florence Kasumba.

At this point in time, there’s not much else we can show publicly, the link above is password protected so only those that have been given the password can view, it’s so hush hush. Excuse the carrot dangling, we hope it can be unlocked for pubic consumption soon.

What we can say is that we spent 6 months writing and producing the 83 minute score. The challenge we relished was in crafting music that flows seamlessly in and around the nuances of Shakespeare’s dialogue. It’s tightly synchronised but written to appear to flow naturally; writing themes for numerous characters, how they interact and develop through the love story. The music features :-
