Sega Rally

In 2007, B&B were fortunate enough to win the gig to score one of the most well known racing franchises - Sega Rally. (Sega Rally Revo in the US).
The score posed interesting challenges, namely maintaining a high-octane racing soundtrack, mixing in elements of the 1994 original, keeping it up-to-date and also bring an idea from the team in having the off-road tracks scored in 5/4 time signature. Oh, and to keep the whole thing interesting for a 3 minute race.
We chose to write a contemporary rock score, mix it with electronica, layer it enormously with overdubs ranging from synth sounds, trumpets, ethnic woodwinds and a string section.
