A Makeover for ‘Old Faithful’

| This month we have begun work on the score to Sony’s Medievil Resurrection, a launch title for their new hand held platform the PSP. The score will include a mixture of new and old music, but we will tackle the old cues from MediEvil 1 first. |

This is much harder than may at first appear. Of course, we have improved our composition techniques so to resort back to early music is, at best, difficult. In some cases we have been unable to obtain the music from the first game, so we have had to transcribe the music by ear from recordings (what we call doing a ‘take down.’) We do not intend on replicating the music exactly and throughout they will be modified and improved with new themes. |
