Despite being incredibly busy, we still managed to squeeze in a spot of sound design for the up-and-coming First Person Shooter on the PC being developed by Ukraine based GSC. It’s a Half-Life 2 styled ultra-realistic shooter which required a fair amount of custom sound design for their E3 demo. Fingers crossed, they like what we did and will ask us to create another chunk.

Camedia Talk

Camedia are a local alliance of Cambridge based Media companies. We were invited to take part early last year and they asked whether we’d like to do a talk. We discovered that they were so chuffed when we agreed that they produced flyers - and liberally placed them around Cambridge, advertised it on the radio, placed it all over the website and charged on the door! No pressure then. Barn gave an illustrated 90 minute talk on the history of game music laced with examples from the Commodore 64 up to and including Primal. It was a great success and alas we had to leave to get up at 4 the next morning for another trip to Germany for the feature film.

East Life Magazine, the magazine produced for the East Anglia Arts Council ran a 2 page article on Bob & Barn featuring pictures of the 2 in particularly colourful socks.
