What we can say is that we spent 6 months writing and producing the 83 minute score. The challenge we relished was in crafting music that flows seamlessly in and around the nuances of Shakespeare’s dialogue. It’s tightly synchronised but written to appear to flow naturally; writing themes for numerous characters, how they interact and develop through the love story. The music features :-
- Orchestral cues recorded in Bulgaria
- a Fusion of Steve Bingham’s string quartet with Sandro Friedrich’s many ethnic woodwinds
- Live percussion
- Contemporary jazz
- Irish jig
- Songs produced in collaboration with Phil Watts.
Our most epic score to date. We can’t wait to share it with the world!
